Jeff Johnson received his Ph.D at Michigan State University in the American Studies program, where he studied international history, modern American mythology, globalization, and advertising. Jeff completed his admirable tenure at The Journal of Popular Culture as an Editorial Assistant and Technology Director in June 2008. He most recently taught IAH 201: The U.S. and the World, an interdisciplinary course focusing on American history, literature and visual art.

Jeff is currently a World War II historian with the Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command in Hawaii.
