Felicia Florine Campbell is Professor of English, Chair of the Asian Studies Program and Acting Director of the Asian Studies Center at UNLV, where she has taught since 1962. She received her B.S. and M.S. degrees from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and her Ph.D. from the United States International University in San Diego.

She is founder and executive director of the Far West Popular and American Culture Associations, now in their 18th year, and she is the editor of the Popular Culture Review, now in its 17th year. She is past president of the Popular Culture Association and has served on the board of directors of the Society for Utopian Studies. She is perhaps best known for her work on the positive aspects of gambling.
