Dennis Cutchins is currently a professor in the department of English at Brigham Young University. He has received the 2001 American Culture Association Carl Bode Award for the best article published in the Journal of American Culture as well as the 2004 Charles Redd Center for Western Studies Butler Young Scholar’s Award. Currently his work Wild Games: Hunting and Fishing Traditions in North America (University of Tennessee Press), a book-length collection of scholarly essays on hunting and fishing traditions co-edited with Eric Eliason of Brigham Young University, is being typeset for publication.
