Geo 221  Introduction to Geographic Information  is normally taught both Fall and Spring semesters.  It is a 3-credit course with 2 hours of lecture and the equivilent of 2 hours of lab per week.  Content concerns principles and methods of spatial data collection, handling, analysis, and display.  The course is an integrated introduction to cartography, geographic information systems, and remote sensing.
