Cynthia Okolo is a professor of special education. Her research focuses on improving literacy and historical understanding of diverse students in inclusive classroom settings. She is especially interested in ways in which educational technology can facilitate these goals. Currently, she is a principal investigator with Project REACH, a federally-supported research institute charged with investigating instructional interventions to improve the learning of all students in rigorous, standards-based content-area curricula.
