Welcome to the Hydroecology and Watershed Sciences Lab at Michigan State University.

Our lab investigates the coupled hydrological and ecosystem responses to climate and land use change. We focus on exploring the hydrological controls of complex aquatic and groundwater ecosystem processes. We employ field experiments/monitoring, data mining techniques, and numerical modeling to discover new knowledge about watershed processes.

If you are interested in pursuing graduate or postdoctoral research on these topics, please contact Dr. Zarnetske.
