The Tinghitella Lab

Who are we?

Work in our lab centers on the roles of ecology and behavior in rapid evolutionary change. We work with real organisms in their real habitats, and also use laboratory experimentation and phylogenetic tools to understand the forces that shape diversity in animal communication and social systems. Recently, we’ve been thinking a lot about the consequences of anthropogenic change for sexual selection. Visit the research page to learn more about current projects and the people working on them.
