First, Graham is the Project Manager of the State of the State Survey (SOSS) at the Institute for Public Policy and Social Research (IPPSR). SOSS is a quarterly phone survey of Michigan adults about current public policy issues. He is responsible for all aspects of SOSS, including question design, programming survey instruments, managing survey samples, data weighting, and working with clients. IPPSR is located in the MSU College of Social Science.
In his second major role, Graham is a User Experience Researcher at MSU Usability/Accessibility Research and Consulting (UARC), where he works on grant-funded research and supervises and conducts usability and accessibility evaluations. His current research focuses on making voting in elections more accessible to people with disabilities. UARC is located in the Office of the Associate Provost for University Outreach and Engagement (UOE).
Finally, Graham serves as the Digital Communications and Networking Coordinator for the EDA University Center for Regional Economic Innovation at the Center for Community and Economic Development (CCED). He is involved in all facets of the project, but is primarily responsible for managing the project's website, data collection, communications, and networking. CCED is also located within UOE.
In addition to these primary roles, Graham serves as the Vice Chair of the MSU Accommodating Technology Community and as the Webmaster for the Power of We Consortium. He is also an active participant in the MSU Web Accessibility Working Group, MSU WebDev CAFE, and many other university and community groups.
Graham earned his Master's degree in Cognitive Psychology at Michigan State University. His research was on eye tracking, visual perception, eye movement control, psycholinguistics, and cognitive modeling.
