Unlike other fraternities, Alpha Epsilon Pi offers something unique and special: a Jewish brotherhood. For hundreds of years, Jews have involuntarily ridden the pendulum from states of prosperity, success and independence to poverty, persecution and hopelessness. Ironically, this insecurity experienced by the Jew has been his greatest source of strength. As history has progressed, Jews have developed a very strong value system: hard work, religion, honesty, loyalty, family, and most importantly friendship; and the unity that exists among Jews today can be described as a phenomenon.
