The seminar meets two hours weekly for eight weeks (schedule attached). Each team (two students/team) will identify a discipline-based educational problem that interests them. The topics in the seminar are intended to examine the theory, instructional design, and assessment needed to help address the problem. Ideally, time between seminar meetings will provide teams opportunities to discuss their problem within their laboratories about their scientific research and the learning of science.
Instructional modules will be assessed using criteria developed by the participants in the seminar.
