There is a Place
I know it's there
where babies are Sacred,
alive from conception
or even before thatgiven the way continuums are.
This Place has no fathers
who kick their sons out just
for being gay. (oops, I said THAT WORD! I must be gay too!)
in This Place there are
no hate crimes. no one is hurt or killed or maimed or raped or etc
based on
racegendercreedhandicapsexualorientationsocialstatusreligionweightbeliefsjustbecause.
This Place has no one who cries
('cept maybe from joy)
because no one is sad or des-pon-dant
in This Place
All God's children knows He loves them
and since we all belong to the LORD's family
we all get along okay.
the screams and cries of rapes and murders
go unheard and unanswered because
they be not there.
anger and frustration
Merely Melt away
for our LORD will provide.
This Place exists,
though I know not where
we could reach it
if people would just care.
but instead we go on
with our empty lives
children scream
children die.
but there was the Son
the Son had The Plan
and then the masses
crucified that man
giving us our Lives
Paying with His blood
giving us the Last Chance
for us to be good.
He will come again
and he knows the way
to That Place
so we will not pay.
