Welcome to the Michigan State University Journal of Gender & Law

Mission Statement: To provide insight into gender issues affecting the legal community through legal analysis and to act as a place of reference for beginning research on gender and legal issues.

Ours was the first entirely online journal here at MSU College of Law, and now is available in printed form. The Journal is independently run by Michigan State University College of Law students who were selected based on their writing prowess. Members of the Journal are dedicated to understanding and showcasing gender issues and furthering equality.

We seek a breadth of academic writing pieces concerning gender; including, but not limited to: law review articles, book reviews or critiques, journalism articles and interviews, biographical or historical pieces, symposium papers, PhD theses, and poetry and short stories.
