Spaghetti with Tuna Sauce
 

This is a simple recipe I got from the cookbook "Pasta: irresistable recipes for perfect pasta" by Linda Fraser (ISBN: 1-84309-008-2).

5 servings

Ingredient

  • 8 oz dried spaghetti (or 1 lb fresh)
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 14 oz can chopped tomatoes
  • 15 oz can tuna in brine, flaked
  • 1/2 teaspoon chilli sauce (optional)
  • 4 pitted black olives, chopped
  • Salt and ground black pepper

Procedure

  1. Cook spaghettig according to the instruction on the package until soft.  Drain well and keep hot until needed.

  2. Add garlic and tomato and bring the mixture to boil.  Simmer uncovered for 2-3 minutes

  3. Add the tuna, chilli sauce (if using), olive, and spaghetti.  Heat a little more and add seasoning.  Serve hot.
