Welcome to Sigma Alpha Iota - Alpha Lambda Chapter
Sigma Alpha Iota is an international music fraternity for women. Our chapter is located at Michigan State University, in East Lansing, Michigan and is part of the Alpha B Province. Originally chartered on April 3, 1930, Alpha Lambda currently consists of 16 active members. We are always recruiting new members; if you'd like more information on pledging, please see our information for prospective members.
Girl Scouts Music Workshop 08'
This year, we were proud to help several Girl Scout’s attain their music badges! Over 45 Girl Scout troops, parents and leaders, traveled to Michigan State University’s College of Music on March 24th from 10:00am -12:00pm, to take part in the workshop. The two hour workshop included three rooms, set for each scout’s badge requirement. These rooms were ran by trained musical members of Sigma Alpha Iota’s Alpha Lambda Chapter, (located at Michigan State University). We are proud to say, the girls scouts filled their requirements, and were able to get their music badges! Congrats girls!!
