B.S., 2001, Earth Science (Meteorology emphasis), Central Michigan University

Research Interests:

I am a Ph.D. student and research assistant within the Department of Geography at Michigan State University.  During my time as a graduate student at Michigan State University, I have been a teaching assistant and research assistant on various research projects. My CV is available here.

My research primarily focuses on questions regarding climate change and variability.  Specific projects include climate trends of the southern Appalachians and Great Smoky Mountains National Park, airflow circulation, wildland-fire risk, and the quality of climatological data.  Other broad areas of interest include: environmental ethics, quantitative methods, and physical geography.
