Hello
I have a Master's degree in Digital Media Arts and
Technology from the Department
of Telecommunication, Information Studies and Media at Michigan State University.
I am interested in multimedia development
and emerging technologies in digital media with
special interest in interactive digital media.
I love exploring new technologies to create innovative
digital media applications and interfaces.
My thesis project "Plant Scanner" involves a handheld PDA and RFID tags which teaches children introductory plant biology. This project integrates technologies such as Flash, RFID, embedded Visual Basic and XML to create a usable interface on a Pocket PC.
I have worked in the College of Education at Michigan State University for the last three years as a student web/multimedia developer and a teaching assistant while pursuing my degree. I was the lead Flash developer of "EASE History" - a flash based rich learning environment for educators and students, that supports the learning of US history. Over 600 videos and photographs are currently available in EASE History.
I have been invited to speak at FlashForward 2005 at The New Yorker Hotel, New York, July 6-8.
Please take a look at my portfolio
to view some of my projects.
