Less Than Jake-Losing Streak

This is an absolute great album. Upbeat music, creative lyrics, and an awesome sound. This all blended together creates Less Than Jake and the mood for this album. It is completely fun to listen to, with the punk/ska sound.
The music doesn't have a lot of variation but each song is creatively different. The saxophones and trombone combined, produce the cool ska sound and make this good music to dance to Catchy beats and smooth sound keep you in tuen throughout the album. You won't get bored of the sound.
The lyrics vary from serious to humorous but the style stays the same. Most of the songs contain some mocking which makes them funny, but there are some biographical elements in the song which keep the serious edge. 107 is a great tune with the opening lyric, "Unless you could see inside my head, you couldn't possibly understand." Rock-N-Roll Pizzeria is another great song to sing along to, with the happy chorus of "With one hand on the wheel the other out the window with a smile on my face and my middle finger up."
The songs are about as care free as the band itself. There are no slow or super serious songs, each one is upbeat with lyrics that define the menaing of life. There's kind of a story in each song but not completely. Johnny Quest Thinks We're Sellouts kind of maks fun of the term 'sell out' and anyone who calls them that.
I completely loved this album from the second I put it in my CD player. It didn't really take too long to get used to it and I'm still not sick of it.
