Local H definitely didn't have a sophomore jinx to deal with when it came to this
album. This is a great album. Provocative lyrics, stunning guitar
sounds, and amazing drums. The whole music together makes this
band exactly what it is.
The first hit, "Bound for the Floor", starts out with a
catchy guitar riff and very rough, but legible lyrics. Whether
you consider it rock or grunge it sounds great no matter how you
define it. "Fritz's Corner" is just overwhelming. The
yelling and stopping, then very powerful chorus makes this a
great sound that defines Local H.
I don't want to dwell on the fact that Local H is a two-man band,
but for their sound, and their success it is pretty amazing. If
you are a fan of grunge, rock or any upbeat sound whats-over you
will most definitely love rockin' to this album.
