Green Day-Insomniac

Even though the public was expecting moreo ut of this album than they got, I still think that it's pretty good. I don't exactly know what it has that Dookie doesn't but unfortunately the public thought that Dookie was better. It seemed that Green Day had a lot of pressure on them while making this album due to the unexpected high success of their previous album.
I didn't think it was bad at all. Green Day didn't change their style, they still sounded raw. I do think that this album is a bit harsher than some of their other ones. The lyrics some what have the same style as nimrod. but still carry Green Day's "I Don't Care", some what humorous attitude.
The Panic Song
is a bit different from the rest of the album. It has a long
intro so it starts to sound like an instrumental but then
Billie's vocals are introduced and the song continues with the
diverse beat.
Most of the songs are just like basic Green Day but they are all
good. Geek Stink Breath is probably one of the most
harshest sounding songs on the album but it's still great.
I think this really is a good album and it is kinda sad that it wasn't appreciated a lot. I do think that this album is more for a real Green Day fan though.
