Floored - Sugar Ray
Rating: 3/10

If you like "Fly" you will hate the rest. However, if you like in-your-face jock rock, then you will like the album. Sugar Ray was a rock band. This album is their transfering over album. Before they ultimately go pop, they want to throw some rock songs on the album to keep their old fans interested, before they completely screw them over.

The songs "Invisible" and "Cash" are examples of Sugar Ray's attempt to prove that they are not pussies, it is unfortunate that they tried way too hard. Some of the songs have a dance beat to them and others are more metal sounding.

"Fly" is the most different sounding song on the album though. Although there aren't any ballads and there is only one pop song, it's enough for Sugar Ray to sell-out, then go overboard in a pathetic attempt to be manly. McGrath has turned hottie, Sugar Ray is now kissing ass for the record reps, and any used-to-be Sugar Ray fan is burning their copies of Lemonade & Brownies.
