Special session May 8-30 including participation at the Chicago AAM meeting.
Instructors: Eugene Dillenburg & Dr. Kris Morrissey

This course offers a one time opportunity to hear from leaders and practitioners across the country about the latest trends in museums. After orientation sessions on campus, the class will travel to Chicago to participate in the American Association of Museums conference May 13-16 with follow-up meeting on campus. Students will select themes and then attend sessions and small study group meetings at the conference about that topic. In the evenings, we will meet informally with experts from across the country to discuss conference themes, careers and other topics. We recommend reserving a hotel which can be cancelled and we will help coordinate shared rooms. Conference registration is discounted through January 31. See website below for updates. Course is highly recommended for students seeking a career in museums.

See MSU's ANGEL website for specifics about class meetings which start May 8 at 9:30 in the MSU Museum's conference room.
