Members of the MSU Rochester Alumni Club can once again order Spartan football tickets through the club for the 2006 season. These are special arrangements offered to regional clubs by the MSU Alumni Association. Ticket requests are subject to availability. Some games are not available.

MSU vs. Ohio State Football Gathering

Members of MSU Alumni Club of Rochester will get together to watch the Michigan State vs. Ohio State football game this Saturday. Game time is noon. ABC will carry the game, but we are not yet sure if it will be available in this region. If the game is available in Rochester, then we will gather at MacGregors, 300 Jefferson Road. If it is not available locally, then we will meet at Tully's, 1225 Jefferson Road (near Rt.390), which has the football package. Check Saturday's paper for the list of games on local TV.

MSU vs. Notre Dame Football Gathering

The Michigan State vs. Notre Dame football game will be played this Saturday and it is time for Spartan fans to get together and cheer on the Green & White. It will be the first big test of the season for MSU. The MSU Alumni Club of Rochester will gather to watch the game at MacGregors, 300 Jefferson Road. Game time is 3:30 p.m., but double check Saturday's paper to confirm that time. Please let us know if you plan to attend so we can get enough tables set up.

2005 Scholarship Winner Selected

This spring the club selected Matthew Goldberg as the winner of the club's scholarship of $750. Each year the club looks at providing a scholarship to at least one local student who will be starting MSU in the fall.

Club Website Updated

The club's website has undergone some changes mainly to make things easier for posting new information to the website. Be sure to check back periodically to found out information about upcoming club events as well as other club news.
