Welcome to the home of the Central Florida Spartans

The goal of the Central Florida Spartan Alumni Chapter is to share the latest information about local Spartans, MSU educational & scholarship opportunities and provide social and networking events. Membership is open to graduates, former students, staff, former staff, parents of students, family and friends of MSU residing in the Central Florida area. You DO NOT have to be a dues paying member of the alumni association but dues paying members typically receive a discount!

By now, everyone should have received the flyer announcing our Central Florida Endowed Scholarship Fund. When fully vested this fund will provide a scholarship opportunities for a well deserving Central Florida high school graduates that choose to continue their education at MSU. Upcoming Events: Spring Golf Scramble - Take Advantage of Early Sign-up Discount!

We are planning our 3rd annual Spring Golf Scramble at Magnolia Plantatin Golf Club, Lake Mary, FL. A discount is being offered for early registration; $70 for dues paying or lifetime MSU Alumni Assoc. members, and $75 for non-members. Price includes golf, cart, range balls, prizes and a hot lunch immediately following the golf. Price goes up to $75/$80 after April 19th. Softball Team Visits Stetson

We had a GREAT time while hosting the Spartan softball team for our third tailgate dinner. Pictures will be posted shortly!

250 Spartans Attend Champs Tailgate!

Even though we didn't win the game, approximately 250 Spartans from around Florida attended the tailgate party before the game. Thanks to all that supported and attended the event. It was great to be able to host and we're really pleased with the great turnout from clubs from around Florida, including Tampa Bay, TheVillages, South Florida, and other parts of Florida.

We'll soon be getting together at the Altamonte Alehouse to watch our Spartans basketball team. As usual, you can catch all of the action at the family and Spartan friendly Altamonte Alehouse (map it!).

Successful Return of the Big 10 Picnic

On August 12th, the Big 10 Picnic made it's return. Approximately 175 Big 10 alumni and friends from Mich St., Penn St., Ohio St., UofM and Indiana Univ attended and enjoyed catered barbeque at Turkey Lake Park.
