What It Means To Be A Libertarian
by Charles Murray
This is a nice short overview of the Libertarian philosophy. About 175 pages long and no
footnotes! The book covers what life would be like in a libertarian society and why it would
work.
Ludwig von Mises: Scholar, Creator, Hero
by Murray N. Rothbard
Also nice and short, this book covers the life of Von Mises, the great librtarian economist.
Mises fought against socialism during a time when everyone was turning to it. You don't
need to know anything about economics to read this. This book has made me want to read more
about Mises.
