Bored of the stock morrowind races? Well you've come to the right place this is a gateway to the best new playable race mods released by many modders for Morrowind.

Codes and definitions:

If a race is denoted as a beast race that means it has bent legs and will not be able to wear full helms or boots.
BB means better bodies-a set of body part meshes that create much more pleasing and better linked body parts. Usually includes full nudity, male and female. May cause some clipping when using standard bethesda clothing. You can find better bodies for the standard non-beast races Here
Smoother bodies are meshes that are more similar to bethesda meshes than better bodies but nicer looking. More compatible with standard clothing.
Mesh means a 3-dimensional game object.
Reskinned means only the surface of a 3 dimensional object has been changed-not the shape of the object.

I'm *still* starting to replace them on my own server but they are not all included yet I won't be including shots for races that have their own website or have screenies available elsewhere (they will be linked in the race description)- screenshots are labeled based on filename and should be self explanatory.

Since some people were whining about not finding humanoid races . . .

Have some divided sections:

Pixi by Dale Stocker: A small bosmer based race with dragonfly like wings.
Gargoyles by Dale Stocker: A green dragonish Gargoyle type race reskinned from argonians with LARGE animated wings and new tails. A beast race. Uses a special ring to fly.
Sylph by Dale Stocker: Tiny Butterfly winged females-like fairies. These are also flight capable.
Succubus by Dale Stocker: The succubus are bat winged females. The wings are re-skinned from the gargoyle wings.

Playable Winged twighlights by Redwoodtreesprite

A beast version- Twighlight Siren and non-beast version-Twighlight Seducer are available. Includes vampire heads.

Sabregirl's Races

All of sabregirl's beast races NOW use BB2 meshes. Mammalian type races have nudity options included as separate esps.

Pharlan Race by Sabregirl

A winged birdlike beast race (Now available in an upright form) with elvish faces (Rhedd's head models). Wings are animated and the race is flight capable. No extra bits since they are bird-like (Same for the other versions of pharlans).
NEW textures - gold males and brown/rust females.Larger non-animated replacement wings available for the beast version A fairly good sized quest mod(just updated to version 2.0) with plenty of pharlan NPCs has been made for this race(but playable by all races). Large quantities of background and lore available on the race homepage.

Forest Pharlan Race by Sabregirl

A sub race of Pharlans. They are green/brown colored, smaller and more stealth based. Abilities and such are similar to standard Pharlans(Now available in an upright form) Larger non-animated replacement wings available for the beast version

Galesa Pharlan Race by Sabregirl

A sub race of Pharlans. They are blue/white colored, more suited to artic conditions. New scripted abilities are used by this race.(Now available in an upright form)Larger non-animated replacement wings available for the beast version

Gryphon Race by Sabregirl and Phyntoswasp Half lion half eagle beast race. New eagle head meshes and lion's feet and tail meshes. Feather and fur textures. NPCs are scattered around and have some new dialogue. Item based flight is also available. Available in mammalian "anatomically correct"

Keynari Race by Sabregirl

A fox race reskinned from Wolven. Very small magical/stealth beast race. The newest version add more NPCs, better bodies and dialogue.

Hazaeki Race by Sabregirl

A Shapeshifter Race that uses BB2 dunmer as the default form. Makes scripted spells a racial ability and allows transformations into other humanoid races - including the beast races.

Kentarossai Race by Sabregirl

A massive Evil beast race somewhat dragon-like with purple skinsmassive back spikes and green glowmaps. Male only

Jo'Rakht Race by Sabregirl

A dark skinned Khajiit race. Has NPCs, two new birthsigns, a base and lore included in the mod.

Tartarian Race by Sabregirl

A fire bird race that comes in two colors, black and red. NPCs are included and have unique dialogue. Item based flight is available.

Ryukaissen Race by Sabregirl

A Dragon race with animated wings and BB2.1 meshes. MANY different color combinations are available via the use of texture replacers. Item based flight is available.

Download Better Bodies for Beasts by Sabregirl

Replaces standard argonian and khajiit bodies with a better bodies versions - but still beast. This isn't beastly features just using the standard better bodies meshes for beast races. Some clipping issues but fairly minor. Uses Bethesda based textures female argonians are still flat. No external bits for the males either. There is a patch for full khajiit male nudity available here Just unzip to the same place as the main file. Screenshot

Download Better Bodies for Argonians by Sabregirl

Same thing as better bodies for beast except argonians only. Uses Silaria's brightly colored textures and female argonians are still flat. No external bits for the males either.\par If you want to use this with better bodies for beasts you'll have to have the esp load AFTER better bodies for beasts. Screenshot

White Tiger Race by AlienSlof

A BB2 Race with beast heads. Complete with glow-mapped vampire heads and more heads to choose from. Clothing specific to the race is also being made. They have all the bits so . . . you've been warned. The beast version called Silver khajiit is now included in this mod.

Black Panther Khajiit

Play as a black/ dark colored khajiit. New hand painted faces with striking eyes. Beast and non-beast versions are included and this race uses the BB2 mesh.

Maned Khajiit by AlienSlof

Huge glorious maned khajiit race that uses better bodies. Beast and non-beast version are included. The race is male only.

Falmer Race by Calislahn

Another falmer rendition - light pink/purple this time, quite pretty.

Chiryu Race by ninefold

A race of humanoid "dragons" -basically blue skinned people with bat wings. Includes a companion of the race to accompany you on your travels.

The playable Dremora Project- by Miltades and many others

Excellent long awaited race - just like the dremora creatures in MW. Well executed.

Ayleid Race by lochnarus

Another lore friendly race- the wild elves - green with leafy tattoos, niiicceee.

Very lovely elves with BB2 meshes, NPCs and special armor are included. They're all glowy too.

Fallen Angels

The Fallen Angels, a lovely winged race with BB2 meshes. Essentially winged, tattooed humans. Not flight capable but excellent gliders with animated wings. A birthsign, a bit of music and a nice set of clothes are included. 9.9 MEGS!

Very lovely golden elves. Available with tattoos and without.

Meadow Fae by Korana

Very pretty fairy style elves with butterfly wings. Comes with a shop with additional wing colors and clothing. BB2 but with leaves hiding the sensitive areas. :)

Download Galith, descendants of the Falmer by Kwshipman

Another rendition of the Falmer using fully Nude BB2. Quite pretty with 27 faces and 34 hair for the females and 16 faces and 13 hair for the males. Skilled in illusion and marksman, check them out!

Deadite Race

Play as an undead /evil necromancer

Blue Neo dragons

Brilliant blue "dragon" race with wings. Re-colored argonian skins and argonian heads. Non beast, no tail.

Darhjiin Race by Geonox

Play as a very nice looking blue tattooed elf with spikes on the face - new head meshes! with magical abilities and immunity to fire. Vampire heads are included.

Nierra Race by Geonox

Play as a very creepy/cool looking purplish elf with intriguing green eyes.
