Scientific Forums and Seminars
Dear Friends:
So many intelligent elites are staying at the universities and other units all over the world. Too many questions in the world are there for us to think about deeply in our limited life. For the opinion exchange, we are thinking about to organize some scientific forums and seminars in the worldwide, from the academic angle. These forums and seminars will be only for the academic communications, and under the free-speaking principle. Here are some potential topics suggested for the forums and seminars:
I. Natural Science Aspect.
1. Origin, Structure and Destination of Universe.
Is
the Big Bang right? Is universe finite or
infinite? If the universe is finite in time and space, what are the
before/after and outside? Is the answer “Nothing” good enough? This is an old
topic but confused by new scientific theories.
2. Essence of Time and Space.
Is everything of yesterday still somewhere or disappears forever? Is everything of tomorrow somewhere already waiting us to meet or does not exist yet? How can be event A is before B for one reference but A is after B for another reference, and we still want to keep the ideas of cause and effect stubbornly? Is the universe timeless naturally? What is the space essentially? Is determinism right from ontology?
3. Natures of Gravity, Gravity Field, Energy, Matter, Accelerate Speed, etc.
We feel these every day. We can measure these easily. But, what are they?
4. Physical Property of Information
At the IT time, we are talking and using information everywhere. But, what is information? What is the physical attribute of the information? Is it only the brain’s concept? Or as a kind of matter it physically exits?
5. Essence of Spirit.
Does the spirit still exist after a person dies? What is the essence difference between computer and human spirit? Is the difference only the difference of silicon chip and brain cell or other aspect?
6. Origin and Essence of Life.
Are there any possible physical or chemical laws for the life phenomenon? What is the origin and essence of life? What is the essential difference between life and non-life object? Is auto-organization or entropy decrease system good enough to answer this question? Is the life created by God or chemically happened by nature? Is creation or evolution right?
7. Anatomy of Main and Collateral Channels (Jing-1 Luo-4).
What the anatomy of the Channels (jing-1 luo-4) of human body according to Chinese medicine? Information channels? Biological field? Nerves? Others?
8. Human Clone and Human Duplicate.
Is it right or wrong to clone people? Is it possible to exactly duplicate a person?
9. Relativity Theories.
What are the right points and wrong points for the classic, special and general relativity concepts? How are the relativistic relationships of noninertial reference systems?
10. Chaos, Statistics and Uncertainty Principle.
Do chaos, statistics and Heisenberg’s uncertainty principles really have ontological (objective) meaning independent from human intelligent, or they are only the epistemological (subjective) tools that scientists use to compensate their weak capabilities?
11. Biophysics and Quantum-biology.
We are knowledgeable in molecular biology but not biophysics and quantum-biology. It looks that we cannot find the essential difference between life and no-life objects under the molecular biology level.
II. Social Science Aspect.
1. Comparison of Bible, Koran, and Marxism.
Most of us are very knowledgeable to Marxism, many of us have read Bible, and some of us have read Koran. These are the three most important thought theories and they are controlling most people in the current world. It will be important to compare the three, no matter which one you believe, even if no one you believe.
2. Globalization.
After the economic globalization for a several years, is it the time to think about political globalization? Is now the right time to think about remove country boundary to give all people in the world much more equal status and right to spend everyone’s precious limited life? How is the democracy suitable on the international politics? Billions people were killed by wars in human history. The most important conflict of all is inter-nation conflict, reasoned from military, political, economic, and belief, etc. Is it reasonable for the whole human society to unite and make a uniform government in the earth? Is this the best way to remove the main reason of human conflict and create a much better and peaceful social environment for ourselves and for our offspring? If the answer is “yes”, what should be the possible constitution draft for the possible future “Republic of Earth”? What the person should to say if he/she would campaign for the presidential position of the “Republic of Earth”?
3. Reform of China.
The reform of China is very important for the world, not only China. What is the economic reform going on? After more than 20 years successfully economic reform, is now the right time to start the political reform in China? How do you think about the national election of China? If you are one of the candidates for the presidential election, what do you want to say?

6. International Economics
7. Anti-terror War
8. Relationship of American and China.
9. Affairs of Twain and Tibet.
10. China Politics and Economics Running.
Any other topics could be discussed in the forums and seminars. If anyone has any idea, or want to suggest any other topic, or like to offer any seminar, you are all welcome. All people are welcome, no matter what degree you have or what status you are. Internet worldwide or meeting forums/seminars in the United States will be considered.
