Developed for the purpose of teaching health professionals, the Nutrition Assessment Laboratory was developed by a grant from the Kellogg Foundation for Healthy U and contains about 1400 sq ft of laboratory space.

The laboratory is equipped for research and teaching with the following:

• Five desktop computers, all connected to network system
• One laptop computer
• Nutrition assessment software--Nutritionist Pro, RJL Body composition analysis system
• Statistical analysis software--SPSS, SAS, SUDAAN, EPI Info
