The proprieters have graduated MSU and long since left EL. This information was 100% accurate opinion as of 2000 but has since fallen into disrepair.*

*Translation: we're lazy and don't feel like bothering to update it anymore. Plus The Man is getting us down with all the e-mails we get asking for changes to the names of bars and people whining about how certain bars have changed.

East Lansing / Lansing Area Michigan State Bar Review! 

Speaking completely for myself, I believe beer is wonderful. It's what Zeus drank when he got thirsty, I'm sure of it. And I'm not talking about Budweiser or Busch Light. I mean Beer: Frothy mugs of Bell's K-Zoo stout, a cold German Pilsner, a good amber ale or a cold, simple Labatt Blue (and I can't dance to save my soul). If you feel the same way, then this guide is for you. 

Thus, my opinions of the bars in the area are based much on that assumption. So, if you happen to firmly believe that beer just can't get any better than an Old Milwaukee, you'd probably be better off leaving now. This site is in it's sixth year of existence and I've received numerous feedback messages regarding the review. Thanks for all of your interest. 

This list is, of course, far from complete and consists mainly of East Lansing bars near enough to where I've lived that I could stumble to and fro on foot. But please let me know if you have any suggestions, snide comments or additional information that can be added to this page. Please feel free to make links to this page.
