COLLEGE LEVEL REQUIREMENTS
A minimum of a 2.5 GPA in Earth Science courses is required for teacher certification and a 2.0 GPA in the major as a whole (section B under department requirements, below) is required for graduation. A minimum of 30 credits in courses numbered 300 and above is required (students who are not in CoE should pay particular attention to this) and a maximum of 67 credits in courses offered by a single division of the College of Natural Sciences (i.e., Biological, Mathematical, or Physical Sciences) is allowed. Teacher certification candidates must also complete an internship year after completion of the B.S. degree; consult the College of Education for details.
