scholars from multiple disciplines to promote and facilitate research on the
interactions among health, behavior, public policy and social institutions.

- José M. Fernández from University of Virginia, Friday, Jan. 26th.

- The following HIPI Brownbag seminars are scheduled for this semester:
- Beth Olson from the department of Food Science and Human Nutrition, Friday, April 13th.
- Cristian Meghea from the Institute for Health Care Studies, Friday, April 27th.
- HIPI has some funds to assist researchers in purchasing data. Priority for these funds
will be given to graduate students and researchers that can demonstrate the data will likely
lead to grant submissions. Contact the directors (Stacy Dickert-Conlin or Steven Haider) if you are interested in applying for these funds.
These requests are considered on a rolling basis.
