The MSU Documentary Filmmakers have been fortunate enough to recieve contributions from organizations and companies both on and off campus.

ASMSU (Associated Students of Michigan State University) has contributed in the past to Doc Films to help the club acquire production resources such as audio equipment. Many stuent organizations, and residence hall governments have contributed to Doc Films as well to help fundraise for equipment. Apple Computer has previously donated a Production Suite bundle in the past as well.

The Doc Films team utilizes many on Campus facilities, such as the Apple G5 labs and finishing workstations, located at the DMAT lab in the Communication Arts and Sciences Building. In addition there is also a complete television production studio that includes Sony studio cameras w/prompters, a Sony production switcher, audio console, Deko Chyron, Blue Screen, and various VTR decks. Some of the DMAT equipment is reserved specifically for Telecomm and Journalism students.
