About MSU Cheerleading Team Appearances

The MSU Cheerleading Team makes more than 200 appearances a year, ranging from MSU football games to Alumni receptions.  Young and old alike have enjoyed the fun and spirit of the Spartan Cheerleaders' appearances.  If you want a memorable addition to your special event, don't forget to invite the MSU Cheerleaders!  For more information, call the head coach at (517) 202-7757 or email Alisha Marquette for a quicker reply.

Appearance Types:

Personal Football Tailgates    $50

Get your tailgate excited for the game with the help of the MSU Cheerleaders!  The 15 minute appearance will include a visit by 4 Cheerleaders, band chants, cheers, stunts, photo opportunities, and 2 posters signed by the team (additional posters $5 each).  Sorry we can only accept requests from on-campus tailgates, and cannot accept tailgate requests from the tennis court area.

MSU Department Event Appearance    $250 non-game day, $350 game-day

MSU Department Appearances are for events lasting up to one hour, which are sponsored by a Michigan State University Department.  The appearance will include a visit by 4-6 Cheerleaders, band chants, cheers, stunts, photo opportunities, and 2 posters signed by the team (additional posters $5 each).  Plus expenses over a 50-mile radius.

Nonprofit Organization Appearance      $200 non-game day, $300 game-day

For nonprofit organization functions up to one hour in length.  The 15 appearance will include a visit by 4-6 Cheerleaders, band chants, cheers, stunts, photo opportunities, and 2 posters signed by the team (additional posters $5 each). Plus expenses over a 50-mile radius.

Corporate Appearance   $350 non-game day, $450 game-day

All other appearances for up to one hour in length.  The appearance will include a visit by 4-6 Cheerleaders, band chants, cheers, stunts, photo opportunities, and 2 posters signed by the team (additional posters $5 each). Plus expenses over a 50-mile radius.

Schools (K-12)     $50 non-game day, $100 game-day

For one hour appearance.  The appearance will include a visit by 2-4 Cheerleaders, band chants, cheers, stunts, photo opportunities, and 2 posters signed by the team (additional posters $5 each).  Plus expenses over a 50-mile radius.

Weddings     $400 non-game day, $500 game-day

For one hour appearance.  The appearance will include a visit by 4-6 Cheerleaders, band chants, cheers,  stunts, photo opportunities, and 2 posters signed by the team (additional posters $5 each).  Plus expenses over a 50-mile radius.

All appearances are booked on a first-come, first-served basis, and are dependent upon  availability.  All  appearances require a $50 deposit or payment-in-full in advance of the appearance.
