Welcome to the Michigan State Cheerleading Tradition!

The members of the nationally ranked MSU Cheerleading Team are a group of outstanding student-athletes who enthusiastically represent the university and lead Spartan fans in support of our many nationally ranked Spartan athletic teams. 

The MSU Cheerleaders can not only be seen at our Men's Football, Women's Volleyball, Men's Basketball, and Women's Basketball games, and at various other Spartan Sports during Fall, Winter, and Spring seasons, but can also be seen at other special events and distinctive Alumni Association functions through out the entire year. The MSU Cheerleaders, also promote our Spartan Traditions at many charitable and public relation events.  Click here to have the MSU Cheerleaders at your event.

The MSU Cheerleading program is comprised of two coed squads, a Green squad and White squad, which cover the various Spartan events.  These squads are selected during the spring and/or fall selection process.  Please see our tryout information section for more details.
