Suzanne Magassey
Visiting Performer
Suzanne Magassey, a carillon student of
John D. Gordon, has performed recitals on the
National
Carillon, Canberra, continuously since 1980 and been with Milford
Myhre in Florida and briefly in The Netherlands with Todd
Fair. She has been a regular recitalist internationally for many years, and
in 1997 became the first foreigner to gain Carillonneur status in
The Guild of Carillonneurs in
North America. Suzanne taught music at High School and College, eventually
working part-time with disabled children.
