Roy Lee
Visiting Performer
Roy Lee graduated from Yale College in
May of 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in history. He bagan playing the
carillon as a freshman, and was co-chair of the Yale University Guild of
Carillonneurs the past two years. In June of 2000 he became a Carillonneur
member of the Guild of
Carillonneurs in North America after playing a successful advancement
recital at the annual congress in Mercersburg, Pennsylvania. In addition to
the carillon Roy plays French horn, piano and organ, and was a member of the
Yale Concert Band, the Glee Club, and the Gilbert and Sullivan society. Roy
is from Vancouver, British Columbia and will return to Canada in the fall of
2001 to begin law school at the University of Toronto.
