She started her music studies with her parents and later continued at the Conservatori Superior de Musica in Barcelona where she received the titles of Professor of Piano and Solfege. She is also licensed in Philosophy and Science Education by the Univeristy of Barcelona.
Her carillon studies were with Maria Dolors Coll, Leen't Hart, and with Todd Fair, Jacques Maassen, Arie Abbenes, Albert Gerken and Jacques Lannoy in the Carillon Schools of The Netherlands and Denmark.
She has won carillon performance awards in Berlin (1991), Miribel, France (1994), and First Prize in Carillon Arrangement by the World Carillon Federation Congress in Chambéry, France (1994).
