Interests

I am currently majoring in geography with a specialization in Spatial Information Processing.

I previously attended Michigan State University from 1990 to 1995. Upon graduation I moved back to Owosso, Michigan and operated the family construction company. In 2002, I returned to MSU. My goal at the time was to earn a teaching certificate. However, after becoming extremely frustrated with the program, I decided to pursue an interest in geography. The decision to pursue geography has been one of the best things I have done in school.

My daughter is my greatest hobby. She is the center of my life. Additionally, I enjoy reading and collecting books. History, SciFi, and Fantasy are my favorite topics in both print and movies. Once upon a time, when I had money, I collected comic books. I enjoy most sports. I really enjoy hiking, camping, hunting, and cross-country skiing.

I hope to find employment within Michigan. I would like to work with GIS and RS at a level that would allow me to impact policies and development. I prefer something in resource management or urban issues.
