Hats Off to the MSU Alumni Band!! Check out the different hats worn by the MSU Alumni Band during their history. Plus, try your hand at putting them in the correct chronological order.

The 2007 Holiday Basketball Games at the Breslin Center were set alive again with the exciting music of Pep Bands staffed by members of the MSU Alumni Band Association. Two Men's games and two Women's games (three of them televised!) were the setting for great sounds that filled the arena.

Once again BIGGGGG THANKS to MacKenzie Trucking for helping make the 2007 Homecoming Parade such a success. All the old timers really appreciated being able to "march" in the parade while being seated!!

Lots of photos from the Fall 2007 Alumni Band Reunion. The weather and game score in East Lansing were great (MSU 28 - Bowling Green 17) - not the same in Ann Arbor!

What do you have when you mix a bunch of MSU Alumni Band members (with spouses, friends and children) together with Sparty, a batch of trombones from the SMB, Band Director Emeritus John Whitwell conducting the MSU Shadows, great door prizes, and some fantastic stories? The Fall 2007 Friday Night Pre-Game Dinner/Get-Together of course!!! A wonderful time was had by all.

The April 2007 Spring Alumni Band Reunion/Concert at the Great Hall of the Wharton Center.

It might have been rainy (and the football team didn't do well) but the Alumni Band had a great Fall Reunion. Check out photos by Erik Nielsen, Noel Montales, Dale Bartlett and Mark Hansen. Thanks to all 4 for helping to document another "win" by the MSU Alumni Band. Here's a shot of the "pace car" and dignitaries for the Alumni Band's appearance in the Homecoming Parade (Sept. 29, 2006). Plus, a picture of the Grand Marshal zooming along the parade route.

Another great performance by the MSU Alumni Band at the 2006 Annual Spring Concert (April 23, 2006). Talk about low brass!!

Thanks to MSU Band Alum Dave Rafferty for sending along these photos from the Fall Reunion luncheon/meeting during the 1980s.

Thanks to Mrs. Beryl Falcone for sharing these photos from 1971 and 1980.

It was a bit chilly but everyone had a great time participating in the MSU Sesquicentennial Parade (October 8, 2005). Plus, being able to play in a parade and sitting down the whole time - it doesn't get any better than that!

Great weather, a great football game, and a great Alumni Band! Check out a tremendous assortment of pictures from the 2005 Fall MSU Alumni Band Reunion (MSU 42 - Hawaii 14) by Joe Levine, Gary Baron, Gerry Spry, Lynn Brown, Erik Nielsen and Mark Hansen.

The 2005 Friday Evening Get-Together (during the Fall Reunion Weekend) was the biggest and best so far. Sparty was there, fantastic door prizes were given away, dinner was served, slide shows and films from prior Rose Bowl appearances, a fascinating collection of memorabilia of MSU bands of the past, plus a musical appearance by a group of SMB trombones made the evening a resounding success. A repeat performance is already being planned for 2006. Make plans to attend!! Check out the photos from Joe Levine, Gary Baron, and Gerry Spry.

Not able to make it to the Fall 2004 Reunion? See what you missed! Great photos from Mark Hansen, Erik Nielsen and Dale Bartlett.

A wonderful time was had by the 50+ Alumni band members (and spouses/friends) who attended the Friday Evening Get-Together. Thanks to Alumni Band Prez Gerry Spry for remembering to bring his camera to the Get-Together - and - remembering to take these pictures. Great job Gerry!
