Lauren Spencer-talked about her campaign for MSU Board of Trustees.  She's
running as a Green Party candidate on the Stop the War Slate.  Her major
three issues were addressing the war, gender identity and expression
inclusion, and keeping DP benefits.  Supporters should join facebook group
and help hand out or put up flyers.

Thanksgiving Potluck-After Thanksgiving, the Alliance plans to have a
potluck where people can be with friends and share stories (the good and
bad) about their Thanksgivings.  Possibly other things as well.  Outreach to
other groups so its not just the Alliance.

World AIDS Day-Michelle will contact Andre at LAAN to coordinate free
testing and find out what else LAAN is doing that day.  A vigil or other
event was discussed.  Steven, Truston, and Val talked about helping to
repeat the spreadthis.org campaign.

Lesbian Avengers-Megan has been trying to contact former members of the
Lesbian Avengers to try to get them to do an event/panel.

Flyers-Cam and Truston will be making flyers for the Alliance as well as
other flyers that just address queer issues, so that we can get them out and
around campus to increase awareness and visibility.

Board of Trustees Meetings-We will be trying to make a better effort to go
to meetings to help push gender identity as an issue.

Coming Out Support Group-the Alliance will be starting a coming out support
group that will meet Wednesdays at 7pm in 441.  Still deciding whether or
not there will be certified counselors or just peer facilitators.

Conference Fundraising Ideas- ASMSU, RHA, Ads in Newsletters: LAHR and Between the Lines( Sierra will write a blurb), and a Can Drive.  The Can Drive will be run by Seirra and Alicia.  It will involve groups of two going around the tailgates of the MSU football game on Saturday the 11th as well as a month of visiting residence halls.  Sierra will contact Shannon for permission.  Hall Governments, Art Sale, and local Queer friendly businesses(Cameron and Megan).

Big Gay Fall Feast- Caucus groups will get together on November 26th at 5pm.

Other upcoming events: Possible Spiral outing, Lesbian Football on Saturday, Queer Film Festival, Transgender Day of Remembrance: film, bathroom posters, vigil.
