lets see if this works

-----

Sunday's meeting is going to be "Bring a friend" / ally day at alliance. It should be a fun way to meet new people, and if you're going to the conference this year, should be a good way to meet a roommate or bus buddy. It's at the regular time, Sunday 7pm at 441 in the Union.

Hope to see you all there.

Recap of Transgernder Ally Speaker

Posted by Treavor Hammons on Saturday, April 8, 2006 - 3:52 PM
Samel Lurie came to MSu to speak about Trangener identity issues.

His website is: http://www.tgtrain.org

Please visit it for resources and visit our soon to be updated links page as well. The trainign was very informative, and brought up a lot of good ideas, and discussions about issues on campus, and nation wide. Networking between groups also occured which was very helpful in and of itself. Notes taken during the training will be uploaded later this week, as well as all the resources that were provided by Mr. Lurie for your use, knowledge broadening and educational apetities.

Cheers.

MSU LBGTA Leadership Series

MSU LBGTA Leadership Series
Kick-off Meeting!
Saturday, February 25, 2006
West Shaw Lower Lounge

1pm - 2pm: Sustaining Action and Yourself
Burnout among young progressive activists is all too common. Learn how
to make activism something you can sustain for the long term.

2pm - 3pm: Discussion Hour
Our first discussion will start with a conversation about student
government, the way LBGT voices are (or aren't) heard, and what concerns
we may have. The rest of the discussion will be focused on brainstorming
what future workshops and discussions participants are interested in
seeing, as well as identifying who may want to facilitate those, and
finally wrapping up with some feedback of how our Kick-off Meeting went.

This series is open to ALL STUDENTS interested in developing leadership
skills. Please feel free to attend for as long or as little as you want:
come for the workshop, the discussion, both, or parts of either one. For
more information, contact greener5@msu.edu.
