NOMINATING COMMITTEE
Note from the committee: Feb. 9, 2006
Our Democracy
Our democracy at UUCGL is fueled by our members who, in our twice yearly elections, think about our congregational life, engage in constructive dialogue, and step forward to vote.
Between the elections, members and friends work in leadership roles, serve on committees, and carry out our common visions. We create each day and ensure the continuation of our Unitarian Universalist traditions through our service in community.
The Nominating Committee has begun working on collecting names for openings on our Board of Trustees, Strategic Planning Committee, Finance, and General Assembly. We will elect members to these positions of leadership at our April Congregational Meeting. We welcome your name or someone you would like to nominate for these positions. Debra Bennett: Chair, David Rovner, Hari Kern, Judith Rowell-DeVaney, Laurel Ponist, Mark McWilliams, Mary Keefe, Sheila Ording: Members.
