The Peace Lily (Spathiphyllum friedrichsthalii)
At night, the male frogs come down to the swamp and sing to attract females. Often I have found them singing from the peace lilies. Maybe girl frogs like to get flowers and that is why the male sings from a peace lily. Peace lilies are very popular house plants, and maybe you have one in your house. The flowers smell wonderful. They are a part of the rainforest you can keep at home! Below is a Tropical Treefrog in a swamp full of Spathiphyllum. It is calling for mates, and hoping to avoid the giant frog-eating spiders!
