The Virtual Rainforest was designed for all ages, but with particular emphasis on teaching children about tropical rainforests. Designed by Dr. Gerald Urquhart, a tropical ecologist, the site is scientifically accurate and explores a wide variety of rainforest topics. Click below to start:

The second option is a directed tour--a slide show--leading you through the rainforest step by step. It runs a little faster than the VirtualRainforest and has some different information.
