The Museum has moved...

...and is re-opening at this new location:

The purpose of this website is to support interest in small scale AFV (armored fighting vehicle) modeling. I hope to show the visitor the wide range of available subjects, and to list possibilities for obtaining kits.

It is a "Cyber Museum" that displays a variety of assembled kits from my collection of 1/76 and 1/72 scale military vehicles. In it the visitor will find plastic kits of the more popular vehicles manufactured by well known companies, assembled more or less "out of the box", as well as resin and metal kits, often representing more esoteric subjects that are generally not addressed by the mainstream producers. Some of the vehicles are simple conversions or kitbashes of plastic kits, further expanding the range of vehicles that can be modeled. The camouflage schemes are mostly accurate, but I am constantly uncovering new information that outdates my references.

Kits are presented in much the same way you would find in an actual AFV museum, grouped chronologically and by country of origin. A bit of historical and modeling info are also given.

The museum focuses on 1/76 and 1/72 scale; vehicles of other scales are beyond the scope of this site. We also do not cover "ready assembled" models, but rather deal with models that need to be assembled and painted by the collector.
