This Clinic will focus more on techniques needed for tryouts.

You will need to fill out or bring a Waiver of Medical Liability Form to be able to participate in the Clinic. If you are under the age of 18, you must have a parent/guardian sign the form, so make sure they come as well, or bring the form with you.

The MSU Dance Team hosts several high school dance clinics every year. They are an excellent chance for teams to learn new material together for games or other events they participate in during their season. If you are a graduating senior, you are invited to come attend as well to prepare for future college tryouts. Individual dancers are also welcome. To participate, the Waiver of Medical Liability Form must be filled out! You cannot dance if this form is not completed.
 
At the high school clinic, dancers will have an opportunity to learn two or three dances; jazz, hip-hop, and pom will be offered. The clinic will also include a half-hour warm up and a technique session where members will critique the dancers while they perform various across the floor combinations. MSU Dance Team members will also be available afterwards for comments, corrections, and advice on home routines and technical elements; as well as to answer any other questions one may have about the team.
 
The MSU Dance Team is also available to come to your school! We will teach the same routines that we offer at our regular clinics. If you would like extra material, we would be happy to choreograph a dance for you, however, like any other services, there is an additional fee.
