The UNL Law/Psychology Program is interested in the interdisciplinary interaction between psychology and the legal system or other policy contexts. It is a program of value to students who want numerous other students, with similar foci on applied psychology issues, studying similar issues. There are about 25 students in the program, ranging from first year students to postdocs. All students are required to obtain legal training, usually leading to a JD or a MLS degree. Prospective students are encouraged to review our web materials. To make sure that our program is a good fit for them.

Several of the faculty and students conduct research on racism and/or sexism related issues. For students, there is a diversity committee in the Psychology Department that promotes diversity/issues for students and faculty.
