The Masters program is designed to serve the needs primarily of part-time students, although we can accommodate a few full-time students. Our community track has an emphasis on primary prevention and students have internships in prevention-focused settings. Through our connection with the center for Social Research on our Campus, we have been able to give students an opportunity to get involved in applied, community research. Our faculty is diverse (although not as diverse as we would like it to be!). We offer a course in Psychology of Minority Groups. We have several faculty members who have research interests dealing with racial and sexual minorities.
