I am a Ph.D. student at Michigan State University in the multidisciplinary doctoral program in Environmental Toxicology offered by the Department of Crop and Soil Sciences and the Institute for Environmental Toxicology. My advisor is Dr. Sharon Anderson, and my sponsor is CNPq (National Council for Scientific and Technological Development, Brazil).

I work for the Brazilian government in the Department of Soil Science at Federal University of Lavras, Lavras, MG, Brazil.

My previous work in Soil Science involves the study of the Soil Chemistry and Soil Fertility of Brazilian soils (mostly Oxisols). In addition, I contribute in a Research Group on Pedology and Soil Mineralogy, sponsored by CNPq, Brazil. My current work focuses on Environmental Soil Chemistry.
