Thanks for visiting the homepage of MSU's Food Marketing Association.  To your right are links to what we do, who we are, and how to get involved.  The Food Marketing Association is for all MSU students interested in our industry and its opportunities - whether you're a Food Industry Management major or not.   

The Michigan State University Food Industry Management Program provides a degree program focused on business careers in the food and consumer package goods industries.     

Is focusing on the food industry a bit limiting?  Not when you consider that food and consumer package good companies are among the largest in the country - Kellogg, Kraft, Heinz, Hershey, Campbell Soup, Philip Morris, Coca-Cola, Procter & Gamble, Gerber, Sara Lee, PepsiCo, RJR Nabisco, General Mills, Kroger, Wal-Mart - and you'll probably find MSU Food Industry Management graduates at each one.  You'll even find our alumni in foodservice and hospitality firms like Walt Disney World, Marriott, and Stouffer Resorts.   

Our faculty members have strong connections with a wide range of food and consumer products companies, so you have the advantage of a thorough understanding of real-world issues and trends.   A hallmark of our program is its emphasis on the supply chain approach - an understanding of how all the sectors of the industry fit together, from producer to consumer.  We also give you plenty of opportunity to understand how you'll fit into the industry, too, through frequent interaction with executives in the classroom.
