We had a lot of fun hosting The Lash, an East Lansing band who describe their music as Celtic mayhem (they do quite a few Pogues covers).  A six- or seven-piece band (depending on who’s available, they’re excellent musicians and plan to record a live CD at a local club in a few weeks.  We also gave away tickets to an upcoming show by the Grievous Angels (Sept. 4 at Mac’s in Lansing) and a copy of the new CD by Scotty Moore and DJ Fontana, “All The King’s Men.”
